Thanks again to everyone who joined us for yet another trip. I know this time of year is hectic for most and you sharing a part of your Christmas season with us was greatly appreciated. If you weren't able to join us for this event, we've already scheduled the next trip for Saturday the 6th of February, 2016. A route and destinations have yet to be determined. If you would like to suggest an area, please send me an email.

This trip took us through the Southeast end of Goodsprings, Nevada. Specifically, Devil Canyon, Deadmans Canyon and Crystal Pass. We are familiar with the mines in the area and wanted this route to have a good mix of above and below ground. We were unaware that, within the last six months, there has been another round of mine closures in the area. Because of these closures, this trip was almost exclusively above ground.

We usually pre-run all events, but didn't think it was necessary because we're very familiar with the area and have never known trail conditions to be bad. Had we pre-run this event, we would have known about the mine closures. I sincerely apologize for the lack of scenery which was a result of my lack of effort.

Despite the lack of underground mines, I think everyone enjoyed themselves. For us, it's mostly about the company and it's great to see that we have a strong group core. We look forward to seeing you all again in February.
