USGS Full Report

Primary Mining: Lead
Secondary Mining: Zinc, Silver, Gold, Copper

Bullion Mine is located South of Las Vegas, Nevada. Nearest towns are Jean, Nevada,  Goodsprings, Nevada  and Sandy Valley, Nevada. Primary mining in the area included: copper, lead, silver, gold and zinc.

The Bullion mine has two sites.  Upper and lower.  We have only explored the lower Bullion Mine because the upper Bullion Mine is posted "Private Property" and there appears to be an active claim tag on site.  The lower Bullion MIne is worth a visit for all the relics.  There are a few open portals at the lower Bullion Mine, but the best seems to be at the top.

We have yet to explore the main upper workings of this mine because it is posted "Private Property".  Reports from others who have crossed the posted barriers say the mine is still open.  Other sites have images available of the upper mine workings, but we encourage others to respect property rights. We're attempting to contact the claim owners for permission to enter the site.
