Keystone Mine is located South of Las Vegas, Nevada. Nearest towns are Jean, Nevada, Goodsprings, Nevada and Sandy Valley, Nevada. Primary mining in the area included: copper, lead, silver, gold and zinc.

When we first visited Keystone Mine, there were a few open portals high up on the mountain. Over the past couple years, all have been backfilled or sealed with foam. All that remains at the Keystone Mine is a surface mining operation that has been working on and off the past year.
